When companion planting with herbs there is a large variety that can protect your plants. Here are three examples.

Tansy

Borage

Growing borage will repell the tomato hornworm and attract bees. It grows to about two or three feet high. Thyme will also provide this dual benefit.

Coriander

Coriander uses are many, It will repel alphids and works against the carrot fly.
