My mom found this old camera bag for free at a yardsale, they were about to send it to goodwill. Inside was an old Pentax K-1000 with a little hot shoe flash included! This camera is all manual and all metal, no batteries required at all. It is a solid machine and I do mean machine. Its a 35mm SLR and the view finder is just heavenly to gaze through. I have very little experience with film, but I am making it my current project to successfully shoot a roll of film with this camera. I found a scan of the original manual online so that will be a good starting place. There is one unused roll of film in the bag. From what I have read on this camera is that it was the camera used in teaching photography classes during the early 70′s. Everything on it is such a beautiful minimal design, very utilitarian, very simple especially compared to my digital DSLR with its myriad of buttons and settings.
